YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS AN SAAS PROJECT MANAGER:
* Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage agile project plans for the SAAS platform implementation, ensuring adaptability and flexibility; oversee end-to-end implementation, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the development team and public sector clients, translating client needs into actionable project requirements; facilitate effective communication with all levels of stakeholders.
* Agile Leadership: Champion agile principles, promoting iterative development and continuous improvement; Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
* Resource Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient project milestone achievement; optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
* Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with public sector clients, ensuring exceptional service; communicate project status, address concerns, and exceed client expectations; prepare and deliver briefing materials, reports, analysis on key issues and project documentation, ensuring accuracy.
* Risk Mitigation: Identify and proactively manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies; address challenges promptly, ensure adherence to timelines.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN SAAS PROJECT MANAGER:
* 7+ years experience as a Project Manager leading SAAS development projects
* Certification in Project Management (PMP), PRINCE2, Scrum Certification and
Agile methodologies; Familiarity with Flowable, JIRA, MS Teams, OnePlan and Linear Software considered an asset
* Strong facilitation skills, with the ability to adapt to hybrid agile methodologies
* Experience working with custom software implementations and system migrations
* Familiarity with product governance and the importance of deep product knowledge
* Ability to bring finesse and professionalism to client interactions
* Excellent organizational skills and a customer-oriented mindset; understand interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs
