An informed candidate
Learn as much as you can about the company to which you are applying and ask questions. Discuss the opportunity with your family, spouse, or partner — Ensure the position and company will meet both your professional and personal goals.
Engaged references
Inform your supervisor and peer references that they will be contacted by Pinnacle. Talk with them about your interest in the position and why you would be successful — ensure they are prepared to advocate for you strongly and favourably. Be prepared to eventually release the name of your current supervisor as you advance in the search process.
Realistic expectations
