Along with our drafting and design team, you’ll work with customers to understand their needs and operational challenges as you coordinate projects and procedures and draft estimates, ensuring customers are satisfied. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS PROJECT MANAGER:
* Collaborate directly with customers to understand their project needs and challenges, strategizing project plans accordingly.
* Streamline and consolidate processes and procedures to drive success and innovation, exploring new ways to exceed customer expectations.
* Coordinate document control for projects, along with execution, scheduling, and invoice review.
* Create, draft, and submit customer invoices.
* Monitor project status throughout fabrication; assist when questions arise.
* Coordinate field installation and repair work through field scheduling.
* Build relationships with new and existing customers.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A PROJECT MANAGER:
* Strong background in mechanical design, structural engineering, estimating, and drafting; engineering technologist education is an asset
* Strong experience in maintenance within the food processing industry
* Ability to read drawings and communicate graphically; experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or Tekla Structures is a plus
* Strong computer skills; proficient with Microsoft Office suites
* Ability to travel throughout Canada
* Sound judgment, a positive attitude, and eagerness to play an active role in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as part of a team
* Customer-focused mindset; excellent communication and listening skills
