YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS PROGRAM MANAGER:
* Manage staff; coordinate schedules, delegate tasks, collaborate with HR in recruitment and selection, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship.
* Oversee daily operations including referrals, case assignments, crisis response, and clinical duties such as intake, treatment plants, and resource maintenance.
* Develop programming in accordance with community needs, various demographics, and provincial legislation; identify gaps and propose solutions.
* Develop, update, and adjust programming budgets; submit monthly billing.
* Represent agency in media, community, and public forums; communicate and report to internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
* Foster a safe and healthy workplace culture; identify risks, facilitate conflict resolution, and communicate respectfully and effectively. 
* Remain informed about legislation regarding social services and programming; ensure all programming aligns with laws and guidelines. 

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A PROGRAM MANAGER:
* Demonstrated experience in leadership, ideally within non-profit/social services
* Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field
* Strong communication and computer skills; tech-savvy and quick to learn 
* Sound decision making, attention to detail, stress tolerance, respectful employee relations, and ability to pivot between multiple tasks and priorities
* Knowledge of FASD, Community Living Disability Services, Justice, EIA and CFS, Addictions, and systemic issues faced by Canada’s Indigenous communities
* Ability to establish appropriate professional relationships and boundaries
* Demonstrated understanding of therapeutic approaches and counselling skills
* First Aid Level 1 – Emergency certification
* Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is considered an asset
* Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check and Criminal Record Check
