Are you looking to join one of Canada’s leading food manufacturers? As the millwright on the night shift, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. This includes performing installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks on a wide range of mechanical systems. You will work independently to meet production goals and maintain the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on machinery to identify and address potential issues before they become major issues.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns, malfunctions, or defects in machinery.
* Disassembling and reassembling equipment, replacing faulty parts, and testing repaired machinery to ensure proper functioning.
* Adhere to safety protocols, guidelines, and regulations at all times. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or risks in the work area.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
MUST HAVES:
* Proven experience as a millwright or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
* Red Seal Certification
* Strong knowledge of machinery installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
* Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic diagrams.
* Must have own hand tools
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
* $44.42 starting wage plus a .50 cent shift premium
* Start times vary between 7:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
