YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS BRANCH TEAM LEADER:
* Schedule staff, allocate resources, and provide training, coaching and guidance to direct reports to ensure a high degree of client service.
* Manage performance of direct reports; offer recommendations for senior leadership on staffing requirements and performance issues.
* Ensure branch operational performance meets sales and growth targets.  
* Minimize risk by ensuring operations abide by all regulatory and insurance company guidelines.
* Attend regular leadership team meetings; actively contribute in a positive manner to discussions and initiatives to drive profitable growth.
* Actively and overtly practice company visions and values, acting as organizational ambassador with internal and external partners. 
* Manage all branch administrative tasks with excellent accuracy.
* Assist senior leadership in planning and executing process improvements.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A BRANCH TEAM LEADER:
* Post-secondary education relating to insurance; minimum Level 2 General Insurance License; CAIB designation or equivalent is preferred
* 2–3+ years experience working in an insurance environment
* 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a leadership role
* Solid understanding of brokerage operations, process improvement, sales and sales management, business development, risk management, budgeting, and financial management
* In-depth knowledge of insurance products, services, and regulations
