Our client – the Manitoba Chiropractor’s Association has been promoting community wellness in Manitoba for decades and collaborates with many influential companies and nonprofits.
As Executive Director, you will focus on fulfilling the strategic-plan initiatives and building the stakeholder relationships that ensure those initiatives succeed. We are looking for a true community leader who can drive this respected organization’s plans, messaging, and goals towards further success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO AS EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
* Collaborate with the board of directors to establish budgets and maintain financial stability
* Carry out the strategic-plan initiatives to ensure further growth of the member base and achievement of organizational goals
* Lobby stakeholders, including members, community and business groups, and provincial authorities
* Oversee operations, human resources, and administrative functions; support committees and policy creation
* Represent and promote the organization through events and media
* Oversee planning, execution, and evaluation of special projects
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR:
* 7 years of executive management experience in the not-for-profit sector
* Post-secondary degree in business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and grow the organization’s membership
* A successful history of lobbying members of government
* A track record of leadership success and financial accountability
