You’ll be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, efficient mining facilities by designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of structures and infrastructure within mining operations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
* Design and analyze structural components and systems for mining, bridge, and industrial projects.
* Perform structural calculations, simulations, and analysis using engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Inventor and/or Ansys).
* Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects, and construction professionals, to ensure seamless project execution.
* Evaluate existing structures; propose remedial measures if required.
* Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards.
* Conduct site visits to monitor project progress, address technical issues, and provide on-site guidance.
* Perform risk assessments; provide risk mitigation recommendations.

SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
* Bachelor’s degree in civil or structural engineering
* 5+ years of progressive civil and/or structural engineering project management, preferably in the mining industry
* Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license 
* Familiarity with relevant mining regulations, codes, and standards
* Ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
