WHAT YOU WILL DO AS ACCOUNTANT:
* Work closely with the incumbent to learn the business and day to day responsibilities
* Process full cycle accounting
* Process bank deposits
* Review statements of adjustments from Lawyers
* Understand job costing, ideally in the context of new homes
* Conduct reconciliations and handle month-end paperwork
* Have a solid understanding of the general ledger
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN AN ACCOUNTANT:
* 7+ years of experience as an Accountant
* Education in business administration
* Proficiency in Excel with VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
* Strong skills in Word for formatting and creating templates
* Ability to multitask effectively
* Experience with Sage 300, particularly in real estate
* Familiarity with smaller entrepreneurial environments
