YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS TOOLING ENGINEERING MANAGER:
*Develop and implement innovative composite technologies across company locations.
*Oversee design and manufacturing of tools, including molds.
*Manage engineering team to meet corporate standards and expectations.
*Evaluate parts for manufacturability and ROI.
*Create business plans and value propositions for composite technology.
*Support lean manufacturing and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
*Initiate engineering change requests (ECRs) where appropriate.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A TOOLING ENGINEERING MANAGER:
*A degree or diploma in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, or related fields, accompanied by 5-10 years’ work experience
*Extensive background in managerial positions, preferably overseeing operations across multiple sites
*Certification in Lean principles or equivalent relevant work experience.
*Professional Engineering designation or Certified Engineering Technologist status would be considered an asset
*Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Oracle, Team Center, and Unigraphics (considered an asset)
*Proven track record of effectively collaborating within a fast-paced team environment
