TEAM LEAD – EMERGENCY TECHNICIAN (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
Are you looking to join a leading restoration company in Winnipeg? We’re looking for an experienced Emergency Remediation Team Leader to lead a team on-site that has been impacted by water, fire, mold, asbestos, etc. If you have excellent customer service skills and looking to exercise your leadership skills, then we’d like to hear from you.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Leading a team on-site to affected properties
* Cleaning and sanitizing structures affected by fire, water, mold, sewer back up and asbestos
* Extracting water from flooded properties
* Performing controlled demolition of wet building materials (drywall, carpet, ceilings, cabinets)
* Answer property owners’ questions or concerns
* Communicating with team members of all levels
* Working in various on-site conditions (dusty, smoke damaged, confined spaces, etc.)
MUST HAVES:
* 2 years of emergency restoration experience or experience in a related field
* Valid driver's license
* Clean criminal record
* IICRC Certified
* Ability to lead a small crew
* Flexible to work on-call rotation evenings/weekends
* Ownership of basic hand tools and some cordless power tools preferred
ADDITIONAL INFO:
* $17.00 – $21.00 per hour depending on experience
* Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
* On-call for a week, once every five weeks (all on-call hours are OT)
