WHAT YOU’LL DO:
*Own the site – oversee all day-to-day operations, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time, and within budget.
*Lead with confidence – mentor site teams, subcontractors, and trades to drive high performance and collaboration.
*Enforce safety first – champion a strong safety culture, implementing the company’s Safety Program and maintaining compliance with all regulations.
*Stay ahead of challenges – assess and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and keep everything on track.
*Manage quality and execution – oversee subcontractor performance, ensure top-tier craftsmanship, and maintain strict quality control standards.
*Be the go-to problem solver – anticipate roadblocks, adapt to changing conditions, and deliver exceptional results.
*Build strong relationships – work closely with clients, consultants, and project managers to ensure success at every stage.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
*4+ years of hands-on experience as a Superintendent in commercial, institutional, or industrial construction.
*Proven success leading large-scale projects valued at $1M+.
*Trade background in carpentry and/or Gold Seal Certification (an asset but not required).
*Experience with self-performed concrete and carpentry is a strong advantage.
*A leadership mindset – you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to bring out the best in your team.
*Technical expertise – strong understanding of construction techniques, contract drawings, and specifications.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MS Project.
*A problem-solving approach – you tackle challenges head-on and turn them into opportunities.
