Lead with Purpose. Serve with Heart. Inspire Change.

Are you a passionate, community-minded leader with a talent for managing people and retail operations? Do you thrive in a value-based, people-first environment where your work makes a real impact?
We’re seeking a Retail Store Manager to lead our client’s retail store in Brandon, Manitoba. Our client is part of a broader initiative that helps support addiction recovery programming and provide vocational experience for individuals rebuilding their lives. This is a mission-driven role where you’ll be empowered to lead with excellence, compassion, and integrity.

Our client does more than provide affordable goods—they fuel life-changing recovery programs and create a safe, supportive space for students in recovery to develop work experience, skills, and confidence. As Store Manager, you’ll lead the team that makes that possible—coordinating staff, supporting volunteers, managing day-to-day operations, and fostering a positive and encouraging store culture.
This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork, mentorship, and social impact, and who can lead with both heart and hustle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Lead, coach, and support a team of staff, volunteers, and program students
* Oversee daily retail operations: donation intake, pricing, merchandising, scheduling, and store organization
* Manage inventory and collaborate with our regional team to meet sales and donation goals
* Use your creative and communication skills to promote the store through social media and community engagement
* Hire, train, and mentor employees, offering guidance and professional development
* Help facilitate a supportive, growth-oriented environment for students in recovery
* Ensure store compliance with all safety and retail standards
* Collaborate with other departments and ministry partners to align with broader organizational goals.

MUST HAVES:
* Experience in retail management, preferably in a thrift or nonprofit setting
* Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
* Enthusiastic about creating a welcoming, values-aligned culture
* A passion for mentorship, community service, and making a difference
* Comfortable working alongside people from diverse backgrounds, including those in recovery
* Tech-literate and comfortable with basic computer and web tools
* Physically able to lift 20 lbs.
* Flexible schedule with some weekend availability
* Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

WHY WORK HERE:
* Purpose-driven work that creates positive social impact
* Company events and team gatherings that reinforce a supportive culture
* The opportunity to lead a team and a store that’s changing lives every day.
