YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A PYTHON DEVELOPER:
* Analyze business requirements and design robust customization extensions to the core platform.
* Create end to end extensions/modules that encapsulate a broad range of statistical models to complement the core product.
* Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and extensibility.
* Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
* Deploy and support custom extensions, including on-call support for production systems.
* Provide technical guidance and expertise to team members.
* Mentor junior staff and foster a culture of continuous learning.
* Research emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A PYTHON DEVELOPER:
* 2-3 years of progressive experience in backend services development
* Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including programming patterns, data structures, and algorithms
* Proficiency in software engineering best practices like CI/CD, version control, and automated testing
* Experience in designing and developing Python applications leveraging libraries like NumPy for numerical computing, Pandas for data manipulation and analysis, and Stats models for statistical modeling
* Proven ability to translate business requirements into effective IT solutions
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams
