PEOPLE & CULTURE MANAGER (Winnipeg, Manitoba | Workplace Type: On-site)

As the People & Culture Manager, you will oversee day-to-day human resource tasks, including recruitment, training, succession planning, policy writing, and talent management. 

Our client is a publicly-traded company that sells its product around the globe. This position is newly created in response to internal growth initiatives and its recent acquisition. * Oversee and lead human resource operations, including talent management, change management, and training and development initiatives
* Develop and execute recruitment strategies: candidate sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, offer letters
* Develop and enhance community partnerships (e.g., with colleges, universities, and immigration services)
* Evaluate and improve the company’s onboarding and orientation program to enhance employee experience and retention
* Maintain employee relations with both staff and management – mediate on issues, interpret policies and legislation, assist in performance management 
* Implement corporate policies and procedures that align with corporate practices 
* Help develop the performance measurement process to evaluate employee objective-setting and personal growth and how that relates to succession planning

* 5+ years of human resource generalist experience – preferably in a progressive and innovative company
* Post-secondary education in human resources with a preference for  individuals who have obtained a CPHR designation
* Proven ability to develop and implement new human resource programs that emphasize attraction and retention
* Demonstrated capability of driving constant change and company growth
