INVENTORY MANAGER (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
* Organize and catalog all inventory, including raw materials, machined parts, and finished goods; utilize FIFO methods for inventory flow
* Monitor inventory levels and analyze discrepancies within the ERP system; ensure proper signage and tracking are followed
* Maintain accurate records of received inventory, performing daily DC audits and scheduling periodic cycle counts
* Oversee and schedule kitting for welding and assembly cells
* Coordinate with the production team to ensure that inventory levels are aligned with production schedules and customer demand
* Develop and implement metrics to measure performance
* Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance inventory management processes

QUALITIES THAT OUR CLIENT WOULD CONSIDER:
* Post-secondary education in supply chain, operations management, or business
* 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
* Proven experience supporting or leading improvement projects related to inventory management
* Knowledge of inventory management software systems (JobBOSS, SAP, Oracle)
* Thorough understanding of inventory management principles and process standards
