YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A FINANCE AND PAYROLL CLERK:
*  Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with laws and agreements.
*  Maintain and update employee payroll and benefits records.
*  Coordinate with benefits and pension providers as needed.
*  Prepare various financial reports and filings.
*  Manage accounts receivable, including issuing statements and following up on overdue accounts.
*  Reconcile payments and handle bank deposits.
*  Provide accounting support, including data entry and assistance with accounts payable and daily cash management.
*  Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Finance.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A FINANCE AND PAYROLL CLERK:
*  3-5 years of payroll experience. 
*  Knowledge of Payworks is an asset.
*  Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 is preferred.
*  Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
*  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*  Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
*  Successful candidates must provide a Child Abuse Registry check and a Criminal Record check (costs reimbursed by the organization).
