YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER:
* Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
* Streamline reporting processes from 50% to over 75% use of ERP.
* Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
* Manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with tax laws and coordinate audits.
* Perform financial analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
* Mitigate financial risks and enhance internal controls.
* Provide financial insights to support decision-making, price negotiation, customer acquisition, and business growth.
* Manage a small team of accounting and finance employees.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR IN A CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER:
* Prior experience working as a CPA, controller, or CFO within a manufacturing environment
* Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation
* Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ERP systems, Excel, and cloud-based systems
* Excellent leadership and communication skills; strong skills in executive management
* A self-starter who’s unafraid to get their hands dirty, take risks, and tackle new challenges
