CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

As the Calibration Technician, you will audit the machinery of multiple facilities to ensure that everything is calibrated in compliance with international standards. In addition, you will oversee the stock of consumable goods and make sure that they are used within their shelf life – or discarded.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Track tools and consumables in the computer system and ensure no product is used after expiry; place resupply orders as needed
* Audit equipment for the correct measurements and calibrations
* Calibrate tools as necessary
* Document production information in accordance with Transport Canada, ISOs, and various OEMs
* Organize external resources (such as companies that perform tests not possible internally) 

MUST-HAVES
* Thorough knowledge of machining processes: grinding, lathes, CNC, etc.
* Strong level of familiarity with precision measurement tools
* A valid driver’s license and your own vehicle
* A personable and helpful attitude 
* Ability to stay organized and manage your time effectively
