WHAT YOU’LL DO:
* Coach, support, and guide direct reporting; work with leader of Learning & Development to create and execute training and development plans. 
* Schedule staff and allocate resources, maintaining a high degree of client service; manage administrative tasks with a high level of accuracy.
* Coach team members in accordance with internal guidelines.
* Lead performance management of direct reports; make recommendations to senior leadership on staffing requirements and performance issues.
* Lead performance operations including new business sales and renewals.
* Meet branch cross-sale goals and performance targets.
* Ensure team is exceeding all regulatory and insurance company guidelines to minimize risk.
* Attend leadership team meetings; actively contribute in a positive manner to the discussions and initiatives to drive company growth and profits.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
* Minimum Level 2 General Insurance Licence; CAIB designation preferred 
* 5+ years experience in an insurance setting; 2+ years in a leadership role
* Deep understanding of insurance brokerage operations, process excellence, sales and sales management, business development, and risk management
* Proficient with budgeting and basic financial management
* Strong knowledge of insurance products, services and regulations
