WHAT YOU’LL DO:
* Manage and fully process all of accounts payable and accounts receivable, including cheque runs and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
* Complete journal entries related to transactions during the month.
* Maintain general ledger accounts (prepaid, depreciation, and accruals).
* Administer and manage payroll for employees from multiple branches with commissioned and hourly wages.
* Manage financial reporting for each branch.
* Complete and manage bank reconciliations.
SKILLS YOU’LL BRING:
* Minimum 3-5+ years of experience as an accountant
* Business Administration diploma or equivalency
* Strong computer skills; experience with Excel and/or QuickBooks
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
