WHAT YOU’LL DO: 
Strategic Trade Management - 
* Own the execution and continuous improvement of the company’s international trade program
* Proactively analyze supply chain systems to identify compliance gaps and implement solutions
* Structure global transactions working directly with Sales and Engineering leadership
* Support international business development by creating scalable processes and building relationship frameworks
Technical Expertise & Leadership: 
* Manage all aspects of export/import classifications, licensing determinations, denied party screening, and sanctions compliance
* Oversee classification accuracy for ECCN’s, HTS codes, Country of Origin, and Free Trade Agreement qualifications
* Lead review and approval processes for commercial documentation and international shipment requirements
* Interface with customs brokers and regulatory authorities across multiple jurisdictions
Cross-Functional Influence: 
* Partner with buyers, manufacturing teams, engineers, logistics, and product managers to align with trade compliance with business objectives
* Train and guide team members on trade compliance topics
* Deliver insights through regular reporting to management on compliance activities and opportunities

EXPERIENCE YOU BRING: 
* 5+ years in corporate international trade or customs compliance
* Working knowledge of North American and international import/export regulations
* Strong understanding of Incoterms and free trade agreements
* Exceptional project management and communication skills – you can translate complex regulations into actional business guidance
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
