LEGAL ASSISTANT (Winnipeg, Manitoba)
Are you an organized and positive-minded administrative professional with a passion for learning? As a Legal Assistant at this Winnipeg law-firm, you will be essential to keeping one of their real estate lawyers organized and up to date.
In this role, you will prepare and maintain legal documents and proactively manage what needs to be done. If you enjoy being a team player and want to take on a new challenge, we want to hear from you!
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Work closely with and support a real estate lawyer with a variety of administrative tasks:
* Prepare correspondence and forms
* Draft and file documents; open and close files
* Manage and organize client files
* Pull notes and arrange materials to create to-do lists (electronic and on paper)
* Help lawyer stay organized
* 2 to 5 years of experience as a legal assistant
* Knowledge of real estate law would be an asset
* Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
* High level of maturity and accountability
* Computer proficiency
* Proven communication skills in a corporate setting
* Strong personal drive and work ethic
* Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow
