PROJECT COORDINATOR (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

As a Project Coordinator, you will be the main contact for contractors, architects, suppliers, and installers on an awarded contract. This role is responsible for ensuring that the project activities related to hardware are efficiently coordinated to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction

WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Detail products required based on project details and architectural drawings
* Organize, create and collect shop drawings and required product detail information
* Approximate delivery dated based on product ordering times and need
* Order parts and products needed for projects
* Ensure product is received from supplier as needed
* Organize shipment of product to build site
* Communicate with contractors and/or build site supervisors as required throughout project
* Maintain positive customer and vendor relations by providing superior customer service

MUST HAVES
* DHI and industry related training in Architectural Hardware
* Past experience in Division 8 or related products
* Experience in project coordination or project management
* Organizational and efficiency skills are an asset
* Working knowledge of Microsoft office and related software
* Able to read and understand Architectural plans, specs and construction documents
* Strong organizational skills are an asset as this position may require the completion of several projects at one time
